How to
send texts to people not in your contacts
Chatsie lets you send text messages to any number which is not currently saved in your contacts.
1. On the main Menu, tap "Text someone".
2. Tap "Text a new number".
3. Tap in the number you want to text, and then tap "Compose message".
4. Draft the message you would like to send, and then tap "Send message".
Note:
If the text message has failed to send, a screen will display showing the following error message: "Text didn't send". Tap "OK" to go back to the text editor where you are drafting the message.
How to
send texts to a contact
You can send texts to contacts via the "Text someone" menu, or via the "Shortcuts" section.
If your contact is in the Shortcuts section:
1. Scroll down to the Shortcuts section, and tap "Text [Contact name]".
If your contact is not in the Shortcuts section:
1. On the main Menu, tap "Text someone".
2. In the "Text a saved number" section, tap the contact you want to text (you may have to scroll down to find them).
3. Draft the message you want to send, and then tap "Send message".
Note:
If the text message has failed to send, a screen will display showing the following error message: "Text didn't send". Tap "OK" to go back to the text editor where you are drafting the message.
How to
read texts on mobile
1. On the main Menu, tap "Read texts".
2. Tap on the number or contact you want to read texts from.
3. If you want to send a message back, tap "Draft a reply".
How to
delete a text message
1. On the main Menu, scroll down and tap "Other options".
2. Tap "Advanced".
3. Tap "Delete text messages".
4. Select the number or contact you want to delete messages from.
5. Tap on the messages you want to delete. Messages you have selected to delete will turn green. Then tap "Delete selected".
6. When asked if you are sure you want to delete these text messages, tap "Delete".
7. Your messages have been deleted. Tap "OK" to return to the Advanced Menu.
